RAPClot Rapid serum tubes – Stability and Manufacture

Protective formulation for RAPClot® Rapid serum tubes.

A comprehensive development program identified stabilising carriers and additives to enable RAPClot® and other prothrombin activators to be formulated into commercially available tubes with an appropriate shelf-life at room temperature. The formulations have been designed to optimize stability under industrial spraying, drying and irradiation conditions.

Formulations combining prothrombin activators, colloid carriers and other stabilising agents are the subject of granted patents.
